Lobby and guest access
The host decides who gets into the meeting and how. Employees join directly, guests wait in the lobby with your welcome message and background, and participants from trusted domains confirm their email with a code. A link without an invitation does not let outsiders in.

What’s included
- Four room access types: public, through the lobby, hidden and organization members only
- Lobby: admit one person, everyone at once or all signed-in users, a custom message and waiting background, a waiting time limit
- A meeting password, link expiry, room locking and no joining before the host
- One-time personal links for external participants and sign-in with an emailed code for trusted domains
- Join screen: camera, microphone and speaker check, a network test, consent to recording and AI processing
- A guest returns to the meeting after a page refresh without waiting again
Available on all plans. The guest access policy is set by the organization administrator. Compare plans
Frequently asked questions

No. An external participant joins from a browser by link, enters a name and, if required, a password or an emailed code. No software installation is needed.
Can guests be blocked completely?
Yes. Organization policy can allow guests, admit them only through personal links or block external participants completely.
